The Village Church Farm is run entirely by a dedicated team of volunteers who gladly give up their time and skills for free. We do not receive any money from central government or local councils. The only way we can keep Lincolnshire’s only open air farming museum open is by generating money at our special events and the generosity of people such as yourself.

Join us at The Village for the lighting of the only official Diamond Jubilee Beacon in Skegness.
From 6.30pm the Village will be open to all celebrate the Diamond Jubilee.
On site we will have the award winning Yankees Burger Bar ( the Yanks love our Queen ) so why not join us for tea.
Bring your flags, bring your hats and enjoy a sing along to the music that made our nation great, Land Of Hope And Glory, Rule Britannia, Jerusalem etc.
You will be particularly welcome if
a. You can sing
b. You actually know the word( or else there could be a lot of la la la ing going on).
The evening will culminate with the lighting of the official Skegness beacon at exactly 10.26.
This is a once in a lifetime opportunity so come and join us for a great family evening celebrate 60 years of our fantastic monarch.

The Knights will be back this year to once again invade the village, showcasing their armoury
There wiil be different crafts for people to see, and get involved with, and also cooking and a show of different medicines and implements used for surgery in battles.
plus dramatized story telling, archery and other short displays at random times.
